Troops pass by en route between the barracks and the land and river guard towers. The broad dirt road proceeds east and west, hugging the inside of the northern wall. You notice a remarkable mix of people along this stretch, including wealthy merchants and their wives decked out in furs, grizzled-looking trappers with freshly-cured pelts slung over their shoulders, and many others from all parts of Elanthia who have come to seek their fortunes in Wehnimer's Landing. The hum of the bazaar, the cries of the traders and hawkers, the singsong of the vendors and peddlers, a chorus of sounds reaches your ears from the south and west.
