Order of the Silver Gryphon, Meeting Minutes for Restday, day 13 of the month Fashanos in the year 5105.

Mourdeyan facilitated the meeting.

I. Squire Issues

No squire issues to report!

II. Current Events

A strike force was flown in the airship "Willow" by Maluverre to Morvule's encampment where they destroyed a kraken experiment Morvule had planned to use to overwhelm Solhaven. A number of Gryphons were present during this strike and report it was successful in its entirety.

Sir Cryheart reports that the Gosaenite seer Volierre has been prophecizing about how the 'arrogant elves' have uncovered something ancient and they do not know how to contain it. This ancient force is trying to gain a foothold here. It is believed the excavations are occurring near Illistim.

III. Paladins and the Order

Sir Cryheart reminded us that we must make a decision on whether or not paladins will be allowed to be considered as members of the Order. Sir Kinshack advised considering allowing all professions and judging based on merit and fitness of character rather than encourage a double standard that accepted based only on profession. Sir Eahlstan cautioned against swelling the membership with those too reliant on magic such that it would result in the collapse of the Order faced with a crisis of the nature that occurred in the Jantalarian incursion.

Further discussion will occur at later meetings but members are encouraged to share their thoughts via missives if they are unable to attend.

V. Special Sheaths

Mourdeyan is at work constructing sheaths for our ceremonial daggers that were given as a gift by Storven. She will require griffin talons to finish the work so keep your eyes peeled for them.
