Order of the Silver Gryphon, Meeting Minutes for Restday, day 16 of the month Ivastaen in the year 5104.

Members in attendance: Sir Cryheart, Sir Eahlstan, Sir Kinshack, Sir Morgiest, Murgin, Shallimar, Shirkon, Xanith, Sir Yarx, Dame Yviara

I. Squire Issues

None.

II. Squire Reform

Murgin was elected Master-of-Squires by means of unanimous vote, 9:0:0.

III. Inactivity Bylaw

There has been some trouble interpreting the inactivity bylaw recently.

The current wording is as follows:

"A member will be declared inactive upon missing six consecutive weeks of meetings, regardless of how many meetings occur in that time frame. There is no exception to this rule. Inactivity with a good reason is still inactivity, and could just as easily result in the undesired results listed above."

This is taken to mean that if a member misses all meetings that occur over a given period of six weeks (roughly 3 meetings), they will be declared inactive.

If anyone wishes to change the nature of this bylaw, we need to clarify the wording and have an appropriate vote. Until that happens, inactivity will be based on attendance over a fixed six-week period.

IV. Confirmation Ceremony

Discussion about an annual voluntary recommitment ceremony on the anniversary of the Order's formation.
